That is a great question. Some firms may have issues moving older, legacy systems, while others may still be in the testing and development stage. Adoption is increasing dramatically, however, since this article was written.
Thanks Jack for the update. I appreciate the feedback!
That is exactly my point. I don't view P2P as being related to the cloud. I was responding to an ITWorld article that did do that relationship in the title.
Thanks Peter for the comment as well as the tweet. Please let me know if you have any questions about GoGrid. Happy to help!
I would suggest that you contact your GoGrid Account Manager to discuss IPv6 options.
Yes, that was the point of the graphic.
Agree. And I'm sure that depending on the language, they may use the term "cloud" or the equivalent word in their own language. I wonder how much that varies.
That is an interesting point. The driver of a train probably wouldn't say that they are "on" the train if they are actively conducting it. But if they are talking about location (e.g., as opposed to being on the station platform), they may.
We have had some customers achieve compliance via some partner work as well as by using certain service offerings within GoGrid. There is not one tool or feature that can directly do this as it is a fairly rigorous process. However, if you are interested, I would recommend contacting a GoGrid Cloud Specialist to work through the details.
