I would go ahead and unlock it, you can always sell it and upgrade to a iphone 4 and for the time being you want have a ipod 3gs on your hand you will have a working iphone 3gs.

Finally, we’ll release an update to redsn0w today for those without Macs and can’t run PwnageTool. The new redsn0w will give you the option to update your baseband to 06.15 too.

Jailbreak it and go to best buy like I did and pick up a H20 wireless card no need to unlock it for it to work. I hope this help I came here everyday for week before I found out about it on youtube.

From every post I have seen its going to only unlock the 3g and 3gs and later the iphone 4 but all will be able to jailbreak, Thats why I went and started using H20 wireless with my locked iphone 4 in-till I can unlock, hope this help

I agree with frank55 100% I reset my router 3 times to get it to work, crazy thing is I didn't do anything different and it just work, I guess it was a gremlin in side my router .

No updates in Tampa Florida as of yet. I just check back and apple want let you restore back to 4.1 but Im still not ask to update.
