It's nice to see narrow-minded Liberals coming out with their childish remarks. These are the same people who push "diversity, love and understanding" down our throats yet are quick to judge ANYONE who is against what they believe in. Me? Personally, I think Obama was elected because he was black. Look at all the new voter registrations from the black community. Everyone (mostly narrow-minded Liberals) thought he was going to be the new savior of the United States and yet he has done nothing that is history worthy. BUT one thing I do not do is go onto message boards and leave scathing posts about him.

I have a friend at work who is Liberal and one day she wore a t-shirt that read, "A mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open". I think a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum should learn that lesson.

When people first create a Facebook page, the majority of the time, their page is open for anyone to see. Including thieves. Lock it down and you won't have this problem.

When you log onto your FB page, top right coner, click on the "account" button the security settings and set you security to friends only. This way, thieves that surf around on FB will only see the extreme minimal of your FB. For them to see anything, they have to request to be your friend. If you don't know them, don't approve them.

Also, if you computer ever gets hit with a virus, trojan, etc, after you get your PC cleaned, change your passwords.

You guys need to know the whole story before you pass judgment on these two guys. The original report, filed by the Oregon State police, was that the two men were traveling along IP Deeded Road in the Noti area, when they heard a single gunshot that went though their windshield. They stopped to see where the shot originated from and saw a doe, in a man stand with a 30.06 rifle. Fearing it might be an ambush, one of the men took out his rifle and shot the doe who was having problems reloading the rifle because of wet hooves.

As the men drove towards the doe, they saw her raise her rifle and he pressed the gas pedal running over the doe. Oregon State police had to change the report due to racism against doe's in recent news and wanted to keep peace in the area.

Taylor, I am not dissing your friend if she is your friend. I just had a couple of questions. 1) Why did she swerve? Something must have have distracted her. 2) She is 17. She doesn't have the driving experience that most older have. A Ford Excursion is a really large and heavy vehicle to drive. If you swerve just a little bit, trying to correct it can be disastrous. Simple Physics.

I am a biker myself. Sometimes I can't enjoy the ride because I have to spend 110% of my time watching other drivers. I hope the gentleman driving the motorcycle didn't suffer. I really feel for his family.

Outstanding news. I was walking along the McKenzie river close to 42nd and the 126 overpass with my 12 year old daughter and stumbled upon one of these camps. There was a bio hazard disposable box there that had been cut open to get the used syringes out. And they littered the ground. And to think I was there with my Nikon to get some nature shots.
