"Historic! #Prop8 is unconstitutional. @AFER & I won’t stop until ALL Americans are #free2marry. Sign> bit.ly/pledge8 & RT"

ALL Americans, huh? Does this mean Jesse Tyler Ferguson will contend for Americans to marry a parent, sibling, multiple partners, or someone younger than the legally allowed age limit?

One of my childhood favorites was a 1980 Star Wars/The Magnificent Seven clone called "Battle Beyond the Stars." Corman produced it, and boy did he get a lot of future stars in that one. James Cameron, originally just a model maker, got promoted to art director. One of the producers was Gale Anne Hurd, later to be producer on Terminators 1 and 2 and Aliens, among a lot of other flicks. The composer was James Horner, before his Star Trek work and later fame as the composer of Braveheart. The screenwriter was John Sayles. And interestingly, the director, Jimmy Murakami, went on to found Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, which would produce the 1980s-1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. The movie itself was a lot of fun. Defintely a B-movie version of Star Wars, but a cut above a lot of its imitators.

The effects were so good that Corman would reuse them almost constantly. Part of the title sequence and the station explosion in the Corman-made Fantastic Four movie came from BBTS. And "Space Raiders" borrowed a lot of its effects footage from BBTS.

Considering the book in Sweden literally translates as "Men Who Hate Women," I think you've hit the nail on the head.

Also, I've always thought of Statham as being a European Bruce Willis. He even bears a slight resemblance to him, except of course Statham still has his hair.
