Could someone please explain how attacking Syria or otherwise supporting their rebels is in the National interest of the USA. I don't see it. Middle east muslims have been killing each other for over a thousand years now. I wish the rebels weel and good luck in overthrowing Assad but it's not our fight.
Insanity. This is a classic example why conservatives didn't vote for McCain. We had no business and it was not in our national interest to attack Libya. The same goes for Syria. Both Kahdaffi and Assad are bad apples but they were/are sovereign rulers of their own nations. There's also the fact that once a civilian take up arms against their country they are no longer civilians they are rebels or revolutionaries.
