This is the result of the blackification of America.
Most Americans are fed up with our American corporations turning their backs on the hardworking people that built them up through their blood and sweat and tax incentives. Shareholders benefit through the exploitation of foreign labor and non-existant environmental and labor protections but the average American still pays way too much for these cheaply produced goods. We should not be supporting an oppressive Chinese government from a moral standpoint either. Bring it back home and we will all be better off. To you, as long as the CEO's and shareholders make a nice dollar no matter what the human cost, it's just fine. There is a time to every theme and right now is the time for a more protectionist policy.
We should make it so painfully expensive for corporations to bring in foreign made products that they will have to bring their factories back to the US. We might have to pay more for many things but we will have more lucrative jobs that will offset the cost. The result will be that the majority of Americans will have a better standard of living. Let China take care of the Chinese and we will take care of Americans.
Politics does make strange bedfellows. According to some, trade protectionist policies are exactly what the world needs to re-establish some balance among economies. The CEO's of American companies have a vested interest in seeing China's unfair monetary policies continue.Just another example of how our government is ruled by corporations.
They pull people out of line to do enhanced screenings even before they get on a plane. This instance was a little bit like that albeit after the flight.
It is way past time for the "men" of the religion of peace to grow up and join the family of humanity. Women should no longer be treated as less than second class citizens. The truly trogloditic men of the Middle East must be dragged kicking and screaming to modernity or they should go the way of the Dodo.
