finished? did you read Dr Jones' book? i suspect not. Dr Jones is as critical of Christianity (as practiced) as he is of Islam. Islam teaches cowardice, lies and aggression, and they practice it. Christianity teaches against cowardice, lies and aggression, but Christians practice that anyway.
You accuse us of lying, that we made the email from the soldier in Afghanistan up. We did not. We are people of truth, which is helpful when it comes to spotting liars. We are just a few among many who write honestly about Islam. Have a go at refuting this post: http://islamisofthedevil.com/blog/2010/08/honest-...
The guys that wrote this are ex-Muslim friends and supporters.

From Philippians 2:
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

On you point about idolatry, see "Why I am not a Muslim" by Ibn Warraq, Chapter 2
On page 35:
"It is undoubtably true that in many passages of the Koran "the Islamic varnish only thinly covers a heathen substratum," as for example in sura 113: "In the name of the merciful and compassionate God, Say 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of what he has created; and from the evil of the night when it comes on; and from the evil of the witches who blow on knots, and from the evil of the envious when he envies.'"
"Islam owes many of its most superstitious details to old Arabian paganism especially in the rites and rituals of the pilgrimage to Mecca (see suras 2.153; 22.28-30; 5.1-4; 22.37). we can also find traces of paganism in certain old deities (suras 53.19.20; 71.22.23); in the superstitions connected with jinns; and in old folk tales such as those of Ad and Thamud."
