I sure hope that this gets hung up during the special session! It is definately looking like it will. This plan just makes things ten times worse 2 years from now. Reduce the state workers by 15% are you kidding?! We have got 20,000 state workers that are currently NON-ESSENTIAL! - also known as NOT NEEDED, Reduce it by 50% and you should be just fine! An attorney heavily involved in this is saying the shutdown is planned to last 10 weeks and then by law half of the state workers can PERMANENTLY be laid off! Let's hope this happens!!!!

Thanks for all the thumbs up! When you hear that they average 8-10 week vacation and take home an nice $60,000average annual salary. That is enough to make me so angry!!!! Not to mention they have the top tier in health care benefits of anyone in the entire state, of which they pay next to nothing out of pocket for- MADDENING! more people should be outraged by the bloated size of our government. When 20,000 TWENTY THOUSAND poeple are laid off and most don't see a difference!!!----SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!! Cut state worker #'s in half!!!!!
