Honey, I have a reality check for you....you're Son has the "physical" attributes of the typical meth addict;
thin and pale / unkept / sores about the face. Parents are always the last ones to recognize a family member that is being lost to drugs. Don't make excuses for his actions...just be supportive and try to get him clean. Best of luck to you. Wife and I have been there ourselves.

I don't recall any history books showing high top tennies with shackles being used in the fields...I must not have been paying attention....you're right woody...those are waay ugly.

Do you spend alot of time locked in your house with the shades drawn.. rocking back and forth in a corner...waiting for the cops to kick your door down and take you away?....

A man/woman/alien armed with a rifle walking down the street pointing it at children is NOT an average fellow citizen. Whether of clear mind or not, this individual chose to arm himself and then go out into the public to terrorize the neighborhood.
If someone is out in front of my house, or in my neighborhood with a high power weapon I WANT the police to respond quickly and decisively. Tranquilizers....what a stupid idea....who would determine specific dosage for different sized individuals? Or do you prefer they send out Dr Phil or Oprah to calm the individual in a series of 1 hour sessions on my dime while I have to remain in fear in my home while they "work it out"?
This may not be your America, but it's still mine. I served this country, and I'm proud of it.

Interesting story....
Seems this shoots all kind of holes in the theory that legalizing pot would eliminate all the crime associated with it. Here we have legal prescription drugs with the same issues as we currently have with weed. Illegal dealers, and runners. Law breaking clinics, Doctors and paitents.
Right back where we didn't expect to be...police efforts and dollars wasted policing illegal activity with a legal product obtained and distributed illegally....
What's the argument now??

Chael is a West Lynn native and a beast in the ring. The first round he pounded Sylva the full five minutes, and like the first fight.....Sylva capitilized on a mistake by Chael to win the fight. In the end, I'm disapointed that Sonnen lost but proud of him for bringing the fight to such an intense level. He's still my favorite UFC fighter.

Their hearts are in the right place, but;
Those reusable grocery bags are not even manufactured in the U.S. They make them in China....then load them on a ship and burn ALL THAT fuel to ship them to the States. Load them into trucks and burn ALL THAT fuel for distribution.
It's more a feel-good measure than it is an environmental correction.

Somebody ends up being the bad example every year. I guess he's lucky to still be alive....as well as having vision in one eye...still, my heart goes out to him and his loved ones.
