I'm outraged by what my dad always called "shyster" lawyers. How could anyone ask for the minimum for this guy, do they have any conscience at all? How can this person who has no value to society what-so-ever be allowed to walk out streets for this long. The legal system is a mockery.
Why do Muslims always think their god is weak and can't defend himself. They just express their hate and excuse it off as religious mandate! What a loving god.

Ken, it seems the you always generalize the Christian population and are tolerent of only those who share your enlightened views. There will always be Christians who have opinions on subjects the others find offensive, those are not a representation of the total population of Christians. However it is not their opinions that matter or anyone elses for that matter, it is God's and if that is offensive - well he is God. He offers eternal life through Jesus Christ for all of us sinners and that is the most loving proclamation anyone can receive.
What was this staff thinking! A second chance! They were responsible for protecting the children - not exposing them to a known child molester. This should have gone to the police immediately the first time without a second thought. Discipline for the Westgate Chapel staff is in order period.
I don't know what happened in California and may not agree with the outcome if I knew the full story, but fighting crime with crime is not the answer and yes I hold these thugs responsible for there actions. There actions lead to a lawless society where it is not safe for all our kids to live.
The thugs just prove who they really are when the protest in this way. Lock them up and throw away the key, they have nothing to offer society but crime. They should be cleaning our highways at the very least for the next few years anyway.
What KOMO needs to do is post all the ACLU members pictures too.

These are career criminals - They have no desire to be rehabilitated and we need to revisit our Justice system so that people like these are locked up or in this case the death penalty, so that innocent children's lives are not taken by some thug. Some people just prove they cannot be productive members of society and therefore should not be. The states responsibility is to protect its citizens.This young boy was on his way to a wonderful life that would have made his parents proud. Anyone involved in this crime should be prosecuted fully.
