Ah, the old "I have black friends therefore I am not racist" argument.

Here's what she said that's disconcerting: "I feel like God himself created mankind and he loves everyone, and he has the best for everyone. If he says that having sex with someone of your same gender is going to bring death upon you, that's a pretty stern warning, and he knows more than we do about life."

Yes, God loves you and wants the best for you until you do something he doesn't agree with. Then he thinks you should die.

For the record, I disagree with her vehemently - I think her position is ignorant, hateful, and divisive. But I tolerate it. Because I think people should be allowed to have whatever opinion they want in this country, no matter how disgusting.

What this article fails to mention (conveniently) is that Miss Krasne seemed to agree with the Bible's assessment that gay people deserve the be killed. She indicated that the Bible is "pretty black and white" about it.

Now tell me, is that tolerance?
