As a hunter I would be willing to pay for designated shooting areas. So I say we take the funding from the hunters preservation wildlife stamps and the search and rescue funds that hunters are required to pay for the whole state and let the non hunters fund their own wildlife preservation and their own search and rescue. Let hikers etc have their own mountains and let hunters and sportsman have theirs. Need search and rescue and don't have the proper license...expect to get a bill from the state.

All I know is the city of Laffayette needs to do something about the land grabbing and do something about the copious amounts of traffic that Flatirons creates. If this were Walmart coming into to town and buying up every square inch of land for "future development" the city would gladly proclaim no...so why is it ignored when a tax free entity does?
