Shirley Sherrod needs to get back to work with an apology from the White House and the NAACP. The president needs to come out and defend his own when there is an injustice the same way other White presidents have done without question for centuries. This president has been too quiet about his own just to appease Whites.

Blacks have been used once too often to swing elections for White candidates and then forgotten about til the next election. This has been the case in every presidential election since Blacks were granted voting rights in 1964. Blacks have always had to choose between the lesser of 2 White evils in every presidential election. Yet, there are some on here who want to blame Blacks and call them racist for supporting a president of color.
