I think you mis-quoted the Mayor of Cupertino. From your own article

the Mayor is fully supporting the project. Why else would it be featured on the Cupertino city web site?

The images were all taken hand held. The lens is very sharp. One of my favorite lenses, it’s the “body cap” to my D700.

On my Nikon you had to leave it on f/22 for it to work. Not sure about the canon version. Contact Stephen Gandy over at CameraQuest.com for help.

Nothing yet. As with every Photokina since 2006, there is hope that Zeiss will announce a Digital Ikon.

A Micro 4/3 Leica with an m4/3-R adapter is definitely a possibility here.

True, it does not make sense, but then why would Metz have included Leica m4/3 is the specs for their flash. This was directly translated from the German press release.

While Leica did indeed have a camera called the Digilux 3 and it used a 4/3 sensor, it was based on the the full Four-Thirds spec and not the Micro Four Thirds spec. The rumors flying about right now concern a Micro Four-Thirds Leica similar to the Olympus Pen Digital.
