I think it is in the interest of our national security to wean us off mideast oil. Petrodollars are used to kill our troops and support terrorism around the globe. Conservation is fine; so is the Keystone XL pipeline, oil and gas from shale, green energy and everything in between. But the market should pick winners and losers, not Obama using money borrowed from China or printed by Bernanke.

Great idea! The only problem is that there's this little thing like the Bill of Rights that gets in the way. It protects everyone's right to say what they think, including networks like MSNBC and blowhards Martin Bashir. Perhaps they believe in freedom of speech for themselves, but not those that disagree with them?

Breitbart is doing none of us a favor by giving space to this goon, Michael Moore. Moore is an expert at manipulating the media to his advantage, and everyone that plays his drivel, reads his drivel, or distributes his drivel is playing into his hands. The best way of dealing with a clown like him is to ignore him. Let's hope that Breitbart will start ignoring him too.

You're spot on. Military force is not the best option; covert sabotage is much better. Create an accident that spews low level radiation over as many Iranian nuke sites as possible. It will be impossible to rebuild the facilities, and if they look like accidents, the Iranians will view their government as both careless and reckless.

A direct military attack on Iran by either the US or Israel would only reinforce the Iranian regime's propaganda, and cause its citizens to close ranks and support the government. Exactly the opposite of what we want.

Ellison is projecting here. I don't know of anyone that advocates for smaller government that thinks women should be barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen.

Ellison says he is against "extremists". But those that think this way are usually muslim "extremists": they support sharia, and want multiple wives, want them not to drive, think that rape is the fault of the woman, think they should keep their hair covered, disapprove of makeup, etc.

Rather than bitch about republicans, he should take his message to his mosque.
