100% agree. I thought all of them were funny in the "wow these are so generic/real that it's scary," but I actually found Sayonara Davey to be genuinely funny.

Does that make me a bad person?

I would rather they never make a Batman film again than not have Nolan direct a third film in the franchise. As mentioned above, TDK was a masterpiece that outweighed even the greatest expectations. I will forever remember the anticipation and build-up that came in the months before it's release and I have never felt more satisfied walking out of a theater.

That said, I understand the pressure and obligations that Nolan has, but I would rather the movie come to him than for him to go to the movie. Even after Batman Begins there wasn't any guarantee that Nolan would be back to film a sequel, and just as he is doing with Inception, Nolan directed The Prestige in between Batman films as well.

There is so much potential for a third film and the Nolans and Goyer are talented enough that I am sure they can find a compelling story. Since the rumblings began, I have loved the idea of Edward Nigma (The Riddler) being redesigned as a special investigator who is both reassigned to work with the Gotham Police to hunt down Batman and dealing with his own personal need to know who is under the mask. The end of The Dark Knight leaves so much to be explored and I hope that Nolan will find his way back to it.

Doesn't anyone else get the Venture Bros. vibe off of this whole project? I mean, ignoring the fact that this is another example of Dreamworks stepping in a pre-made footprint, but the idea of a villain being lost without a nemesis is the entire plot of the second season of Venture Bros. when The Monarch has defeated Dr. Venture. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I really pray that they don't kill the zombie genre. Things were going so well with about one zombie film a year with Romero occasionally throwing one in. Here is a list of up and coming zombie movies:

Breathers
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
World War Z
Deadworld
...of the Dead
Zombieland
Deadworld

and probably a bunch of others that I can't think of at the moment. The thought of superhero-overexposure has come up a lot, but is anyone else worried that one of the greatest forms of horror left is going to be overdone?

That said, one of my most anticipated films of the next few years is Forster's World War Z. I am a huge fan of the book and really want to see what he can do with it.

I'm fairly certain that this wasn't a serious question.

I want Sally Menke's cut with Tarantino's oversight. If they can both look at it and decide the pacing is where it needs to be, in spite of or in consideration of length, then that is the cut I will want to watch.

There is always the DVD for an extended version.
