My God. My God. Just when I thought this couldn't get any worse...he took an ax to his children? Those babies...I can't even wrap my head around this. I'm sobbing. I hope he suffers in hell for eternity. I hope he is tortured a million times worse than he tortured his wife and children.

Those poor children...my heart is just breaking.

Growing up my mom used to tell me, "Nothing good happens after midnight". I always thought she was a worry-wort. The older I get (I'm 40 now) the more I realize just how smart my mom was and still is.

Rest in Peace, Jayme. I pray justice is served on those who took a promising young life.

I realize this man may have been experienced with the backwoods and hiking, but the fact of the matter is he was in this goat's backyard. The goat is a wild animal and will react like a wild animal. It's not up to the United States government to protect every visitor to the park. That's asinine.

I'm reminded of when I worked at a resort at Denali National Park. We had a brown bear come onto the property so the staff started ushering people who were outside into the lodge. We were in the process of locking the doors when this man goes flying by me and busts out the side door. The camera around his neck, flapping wildly, he shouting with glee. The staff was pleading with this guy to come back inside, but he wanted his "photo op" and practically ran up to the bear.

The problem is, people have no fear of wild life. I think people really think it's their God-given right to be one with nature and to be romping around out there with no regard to the fact that you are a visitor in THEIR home. In the wild - stuff happens. You have to be prepared for that.

What an uplifting story! Cheers for these wonderful women and their ability to think and act quickly. The fact that they got involved is fantastic, but they risked their own lives to save the lives of these beautiful animals.

God bless these ladies!

My heart breaks for this poor family. I'm so sick and tired of these $#!&head drivers. Just this past Friday afternoon on the way home from work some moron showed me a little road rage. I still don't know what I did wrong, but we were on I-5 Northbound, Express lanes. He got in front of me and slammed on his brakes. I almost crapped myself.

Every lane I tried to move to he would move ahead of me and then slam on his brakes. I ended up calling 911. He roared off once he saw me on the phone and I watched as he cut many others off, driving insanely down the road.

Unfortunately road rage is happening all the time - everywhere. I try to be a good driver and not tick anyone off, but like what happened on Friday where I still don't know what I did wrong and what happened to this unfortunate man - sometimes you're just on the receiving end of someone's anger.

I really do wonder about my fellow man. Some people are just sick and cruel.

I completely agree that this woman should be tried and sentenced to an extremely harsh punishment. What I find insane is that someone like John Athan can serve 7 years for a brutal rape and murder of a minor and get then get released.

Cutting off a man's penis is torture and horrific and deserves to be punished. No argument there, however rape and murder deserve a life sentence too.

What is WRONG with our justice system?!
