Parents, get your kids screened for heart problems before they start sports. Sudden cardiac arrest is a real threat to athletes of all ages. Hospitals sometimes offer the screenings free of charge. I don't know if a screening could have prevented Cody's death but it may have spotted a problem.
"No amount of money could fix the gaping hole in their lives" It was a tragic accident, there was no gross negligence. The family of the pilot of the plane is having a horrible time and now this. All this does is rub salt in the wound.
So correct me if I am wrong, but before the ban takes place, someone can carry open as long as the gun is unloaded? So if I wanted to fire my gun in defense without a concealed permit, I would have to draw, load and then fire? That sounds dangerous and inconvenient. I would rather lift my shirt up and have a round in the chamber, just saying.
Sounds like the greatest S*** show on earth!!
You can go to the Bierstube in Seattle and have one for yourself, they are between $8 and $11. Those mugs hold about a liter of beer, takes about 2 to get me toasted.
I think that learning about the religions of the world is important, however, I don't believe that elementary age children are able to fully appreciate this kind of lesson. I learned about eastern religions (Islam,Buddhism,Hindu, etc) in 7th grade and enjoyed it. Students can be taught about different religions and their beliefs without being preached to, it is important to understand the world beyond our borders and not live in fear of it.
Hit the nail on the head, definitely too much for most new drivers to handle. However, Subaru makes very safe cars, had they been driving something else the results may have been more tragic.
Well I guess there is no arguing with you, you seem to have everything figured out in your head about how a fire department should operate on a fire scene. One request; could you please list the education and or experience that allows you to make such assessments?
He put the hose down because he was the driver of the first in engine, he did not have an SCBA and was wearing headphones. His primary job is to ensure he has a water supply (hydrant) and that the crews on the hoselines have enough pressure going to them. He is also responsible for unloading additional equipment; tools, saws, air bottles, etc. In your video you can clearly see him in action doing his job.
