Não, a esplanada não está aberta. As pessoas tiram cadeiras que estão ao lado de cafe e sentam-se sem as mesas.

...I came in this country 1,5 year ago, and since then, it didn't passed a week without going to this "esplanada". It's not exactly right in front of my nose, I mean, not right in front of my house: I need 10-15 min by bus or by car to reach it, but still, it's the nicest park around. And from some reason, I never set in the other cafe (the one at the other entrance), I preferred this one.. Now I am having a baby, and I'm taking my kid for a walk through this park almost every day, even I went there this morning... It's a bit sad without "esplanda". People go outside their houses to catch some air, and then, again, they suppose to enter inside if they want a coffee. I wonder how "fiscalização" suddenly decided something like this.. Maybe someone "reminded" them? :-) Hope they'll resolve it and put back the tables before the real cold comes.
And yes, the personal that works there is really cool...Nice and welcoming.
