Hate to break the news, John, but Rush was FIRED from ESPN. He didn't resign. I don't care about the players in the NFL. Yeah, a few of the Rams players said they'd resign if he became affiliated with their team. It was the owners of the other teams and the NFL commissioner who blackballed him. And if anyone thinks the NFL is a bunch of lefties, they need to do a lot more research.
