Totally agree- there seem to be far too many jumping on the 'I pay my money I'm entitled to piss and moan' club! Hopefully they will be back to watching MOTD rather than coming to games when we are back in the Prem!

Sorry mate, when you try to legitimise for so-called fans who boo a team they supposedly love as I do who are second in the league by 1 point and have just drawn having totally dominated the game without the little bit of luck or skill we needed against a team who just filled the box with ten men and then talk of petrol money I think is when you need to start talking about fans who need to stay at home and watch the highlights! I'm not being critical but it's fans like the ones you're describing who are driving the true fans away- if you don't like the football, the manager, the team, the players, the club................I say they should either go and support another or just stick to The Football League Show or just not bother! If it's not good value for money stop spending it on going, I know my season ticket at twenty quid a game is much better value than the crap I watched last season- getting beat almost every game!!!

Totally agree! Boo-ing the team off at half-time (admittedly only a small portion of the crowd) when nil-nil and then systematic boo-ing from the crowd whenever we don't win a home game regardless of the endeavour and hardword put work (as the whole team did yesterday) is a slippery slope and I for one don't subscribe to the 'paid your money entitled to your opinion' mob! Why bother going to 'support' your team when all you do is lament the players you don't like and then don't get behind the players when they need you most! Sorry for the negativity but last night got to me, and it wasn't the football by any stretch of the imagination- we didn't finish our chances, that was all we struggled with and Arsenal had that problem at home when they were trying to penetrate ten men behind the ball in the Prem whilst winning trophies and challenging for the Champ League! We don't have a Messi I'm afraid!

Worth also considering the impact of injuries and suspensions upon fatigue levels versus the mentioned likelihood of lack of fitness.......

Another factor to consider when evaluating the number of points dropped late on games would be the home crowd and their effect on the game- the atmosphere at many home games, in particular at the start of the season when the vast majority of these points were dropped, has been nervous/ tense/ quiet..........

All interesting stuff though, and good to have a manager who recognises all of the implications of fitness, closing games out etc etc unlike some of the jokers we have had recently!!

I think Nolan probably rated higher than 6 in the games that his goal(s) took us all three points home, and probably also for the games in which his leadership rescued us a point or 3 from a losing position. I agree there is still more to come from him, though I also think he is a victim of the system we play we too many central midfielders on the pitch at the same time! (Though I sympathise that this has often been due to injuries and/or suspensions!)

Faubert has to be included in any starting eleven over Jack Collison! You talk about Faubert not having done anything to merit losing his place, well I would turn that around and say that Jack has done nothing to merit a place for most of the season I might add!

Due to the fact that we have looked less than masterful at home I would tend to favour the philosophy of employing wide men and playing one up top with an Attacking Midfielder in behind (Lansbury/ Morrison/ Vaz Te) and then this can be altered as the game goes on depending on how the game pans out.

Biggest concern is not letting balls come into the box from the wide areas as I think this is where the Saints and Lambert are at their most dangerous, using wide men to cover our full backs should help counter this. Really looking forward to the game tonight.........COYI

Agreed would be a good signing as he's looks to be a good player, shame he is a right-sided midfielder though as not really a priority for us.

Except Cole obviously, has worked his socks off every game this season and looks dangerous in almost every game!
