You're welcome (and welcome back!),
although the site is still hiccuping :))

a bit of article downtime due to a person loss of one of the mods here, but we certainly are still kicking ;)

Hello Tutame,
Thank you for commenting.

eZee has evolved form what it was before, instead of writing the whole article we feel its better (most of the time) to link to sites and articles that are already doing so, you can read about our new way of doing things
here.

As for them not being too excited by people not paying for it, I believe that's also covered in the TF article that we linked to:
"Ink got ripped off. Someone bit torrented the movie (we knew this would happen)
...
we’ve embraced the piracy and are just happy Ink is getting unprecedented exposure. "

Have a good day

Not possible to do so for a whole quarter million customers, would be nice if they did though, should help with employment... they would have to hire hundreds if not more techs, and whatever they come up with... will be broken again.

Wrote a related article if you are interested:

All in all a very very useless system.

The ISP (abbreviated to E) disconnects the person, person claims he/she got hacked (even if they didnt) E has no choice but to believe the person because E has supplied crappy routers to their clients, E gives back the account to the person because it does not want to disconnect a person wrongly (plus E is only too happy to believe the person so that E does not lose persons subscription fees).

All in all, music industry is again biting its own tail and nothing changes, which is cool because f**k the music industry.

"..so the never-ending cat and mouse game continues."

The game MUST continue, because if the game stops that means people have turned into pussies and given up to the wills of corrupt individuals who want nothing more than to dominate their life and soul for every penny they can squeeze out.

Ask yourself this question, are you a pussy? if you are giving up, the answer is a big YES, if no, sharing is caring my friend, see you online ;)

Very good advise and to the point, +1'ed.

Just goes to show, this will never work, there are some very good "back options" available that anti-p2p organizations will always be trying to play catch up with.

Stay safe people, and see you online ;)

You brought up quite a few arguements, and all well thought of as well as valid and respected BUT:

"The "time limit" is just a feature"

How can this possible be a feature? does it add something to the game in a positive way? I know a lot of games that have to limit the time you spend on a level but this is ****ing ridiculous. The reason everyone is jumping on the drm bandwagon and doing the pointy pointy is quite simple, without DRM would anybody need this certificate (for this game, not in general) ? answer is no, so in the end... drm is to blame, yes?

- Not a DRM problem # yes it is, take out the DRM would you need the certificate?
- Not an evil M$ scheme # True
- Completely Accidental # Absolutely
- Easy to patch # I guess so, can't verify or deny, outside my expertise so I'll take your word for it.

Cheers!

When it does happen to grandma...., Here's hoping grandma has a few powerful grandchildren in the right places to realllly stir up a hornets next and give this as much publicity as it needs to get the PR backlash to leave solid welts as well as embarrass the dumb asses who co-operate with the likes of the RIAA.
