I had heard about the ban and had the basic idea before I went down there. I asked my brother about it to see if he could tell me what the ban was specifically (Considering he has a big screen tv in his house) and he just said something about plasma tv's and the amount of juice they pul.
Here's my recipe for a perfect Bacon/guac burger: bacon, guac, groundbeef, carmelized onions, your basic lettuce tomato and pickle if desired on an onion roll. This I did NOT have at the brew pub but I've fixed it many times for my much appreciative family. Yummy!

I'm a Christian decended from Vikings, plains tribesmen, and Celtic warriors with a POSSIBLE connection to Atila the Hun. I've been a Presbyterian, a Baptist, and now a nondenominational Charismatic. I must sincerely say that I have been told FREQUENTLY by friends that they would hate to see me angry and fighting for something. I tell them they're right. What's your point? Christians don't fight? Wow have you been misinformed. I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the US. I was, and am, totally prepared to do so if necessary. And I KNOW I am not alone in my faith or my oath.

I heard that people with good sense and a desire to have a little freedom are leaving because of extreme taxes. The population of CA has decreased. I asked my sibling about that big screen ban and received some unsatisfying, nebulus answer in return. I'm still unclear as to whether or not it was an actual ban.
The bacon/guac burger had pepper jack on it!! OOOO yum! That with a nice heffewiessen! Yum! I rolled out of the pub that day. :) Gee--I think I'm hungry!

Lets put it this way: I am breathing better and my blood pressure has gone down considerably. I think I'm going to make it! In CA, smoking in a restaurant is a capitol offense and I don't smoke so I was spared the gas chamber, which they haven't used in awhile BUT for smoking in public, they might just revive the practice. I did have a nice greasy bacon/guac burger at a brew pub. Shooting something warm and fuzzy: no guns. I know you can check them in cases as baggage, but since I don't trust theTSA with my nail clippers and consider it a joyous surprise when all of my stuff makes it to my destination, I didn't want to take the risk with something as valuable and mischief inducing as a gun. Besides the weather was nasty. Who wants to shlep through muck and mire in 60 mph winds? When I drive down there, though, I will keep it in mind! Problem is you can't hunt furry things with an automatic pistol in CA . No fun allowed!

Well, I'm not going to see it because I've seen it before. I saw it when I saw "Dances With Wolves." And I'm not going to see it because I personally loathe computer generated special effects/animation done to excess. And I'm also not going to see it because I don't care for John Cameron and refuse to give him any of my hard earned dollars. Just one question; you're mostly likely a lefty, tree hugging, CO2 hating, eco-centric, who would most likely drive a Prius if you actually had a job. Why do you own a computer? You do know that computers contain mega toxic chemicals in their makeup. You also know that when you take one of them to the recycling center they are actually sold to China who turns around and dumps them in land fills where the poor go to dig for something to sell for money to buy food? And I'm sure you are aware that there are cancer clusters around those land fills. And then there is that pesky CO2/ozone problem with anything electronic. So how "green" are you really?

not so much...my ancestors were here before ya'll decended on this part of the world. NO concept of land ownership so no concept of land rights. read up a little bit on tribal cultures. You'll find that it's only sophisticates such as yourself who are concerned about "rights" that actually think of that crap. By the way: when are you going back to your homeland? I've got plans for your neck of the woods.

Okay so I'm going to use some of the financial tripe I read today about how to get out of a deficit: spend more! Applied to global warming: If global warming is caused by humans, and global warming reduces human sex drive, then by all means let's continue with the CO2 emissions. Less humans= a drop in AGW. Of course once CO2 levels drop (caused by the sudden lack of exhilation by those mean old, mean old humans) there might be a panic among plants, but, hey! They can't talk. It will be a silent panic! I think I'm punch drunk. I spent a month down in CA with family--all leftist, earth-is-doomed chanters who insist on watching NBC and think Brian Wilson is next to God. (well, he did bow to him!) Sorry Greg. Haven't watched Red Eye for awhile.
