If minimum wage mandates worked the way liberals think they do, then all they'd have to do is up the minimum wage to $200 per hour. That way all workers would be in Obama's highest tax bracket, pay bunches of taxes, and eliminate the deficit in a year or two. All our financial problems would be solved!!
Any liberal argument against a $200/hour minimum wage merely reinforces the logic used to argue against a minimum wage of any kind!!!
I don't see why SGK was giving money to PP in the first place. If SGK's donor's wanted money to go to PP, they would have given it to them directly.
As Pelosi said, you have to read the bill. Since Muslims do not believe in insurance, nor charging interest on a loan, they are exempt from ObamaCare, because it is against their religion. I haven't heard if it is against their religion to accept free health care in emergency rooms. Just sayin'
If unions are supposed to protect the workers from evil management/bosses, why do they donate millions to those that are civil service "management" ????????? Would anyone question the UAW paying GM senior executives millions to influence negotiations?? Or do they just do it secretly??
How could this administration be accused of being unfair?!?!?! Just because they require Catholics to provide contraception and abortion insurance, and Muslims don't even have to provide or buy ObamaCare insurance, doesn't mean Obama has religious biases. NOT!!!!
As a former employee I can say this comes as no surprise. I actually thought they would have gone under years ago. The article was correct blaming the Kodak culture. The listened to their own PR and let elitist academics (e.g. Harvard MBAs) guide major decisions. The only problem these elitists were more focused on what was best for their personal career than what was best long term for Kodak. Edicts out of Rochester over ruled local reality. Worse - common sense was never part of the debate. The best thing they could do to successfully come out of bankruptcy would be to relocate their corporate headquarters to a right to work, low tax state to send the message to all they are serious about changing their culture.
The only change will be to stop using email or any other form of communications that leave a trail that can be reviewed by Congress at a later date!!
Why doesn't Obama just submit a request to Congress for the consolidations he wants, rather than request they grant him unlimited powers on blind faith???? That approach should turn the tables on his heads I win, tails you lose gambit.
As I said 25 years ago - Moving in the right direction isn't enough. If you're not moving fast enough, the train will still run over your ass!!
