While I agree that Ron Paul is a conservative, this is far too outdated to conclude that he is THE most conservative. His son Rand Paul isn't included, nor is Allen West or Marco Rubio for just 3 examples... update the list and then we'll talk.

When you walk into any bank or credit union to cash a check, you are required to show photo id. When you show up at a hospital to visit a patient in Syracuse NY you must show photo id... Most people have a drivers license and use that as their photo id... In fact, when you renew your drivers license in Florida, you now must present a Certified United States birth certificate, Social Security Card, and TWO Proofs of Residential Address. All required and supporting documents MUST be original or certified. So now you tell me why it is unreasonable for someone to show a photo id in order to vote. And for those who don't drive they can obtain a photo identification from their state of residence.

I think that if it were about 'fariness' everyone would pay the exact same percentage of their income in taxes... No tax breaks, no unearned income credit, to tax exemptions... A flat tax for everyone, including those who now contribute nothing. What ISN'T fair is for the government to keep forcing some to pay all and others to pay none! And don't forget the 'tax breaks for the rich' are what DEMOCRATS use to give their crony's a break and to use as a cudgel against Republicans who try to hold the line on tax increases.

We all know the drill... before the Democrats stick-it to some group of citizens, they continually demonize the crap out of them for their evil profiteering (not that Congressional members don't want money, as evidenced by their own practice of collecting campaign contributions on topp of their already obscene salaries, perks and pensions)....

Bottom line is Obama wants to raise the price of gas to build his base with union jobs in transit, meaning railroads, buses, and airlines. In addition, by removing from the oil companies their tax deductions, breaks or subsidies he knows that they will pass the additional taxes they must pay on to consumers, raising gas prices higher forcing people out of their cars and onto public transportation. Locally it is already being reported that as the price of gas soars, more and more are taking the bus... So if you like driving your car and don't want to be forced to change because some Democrat on high has decided you must be made to ride a bus or train, then call Congressional Democrats and tell 'em to cut the crap and treat the oil companies just like they treat their pet corporation, GE...

Funny how they're NOT protesting GE... who paid ZERO taxes last year... Their phoney outrage should be directed at 1400 Pennsylvania Ave. and send the DemocRATs living there packing... along with his DemocRAT buddies!!

OK, I'm going to just say this... I'm in FL and in the primary I was a McCollum supporter so it's not like I was ga-ga over Rick Scott. Well I am now!! Rick Scott's a business guy who joined the race because he was just as ticked-off as we are and since he's no politico, he has the backbone to do what needs to be done, even if it means ticking off the 'entitled' crowd. I think that Donal Trump is in this catagory... He doesn't need the money and in fact he gave Obama every benefit of the doubt early on, but has now come out against him because he believes he's bad for the country. I think Trump can compete and win and if he does I think he'll have the backbone to take on the job and get it done.

As far as the others, I like Huckabee -- on Fox, but not as our candidate, I like Pence, but not as our candidate, like Mitt, but not MittCare and not as our candidate... I want a candidate who will not be sidetracked by social issues and will stick to our economy and jobs. One who isn't playing hookie from his day job in the House or Senate because he's hedging his bets. One who can give as good as he gets in a fight. Trump does these so I can support him..

We must make sure that the American Lung Association looses their Better Business Bureau accredidation for wise giving as well. I'm sure that wise-giving does not include political activism to attack a member of Congress with taxpayer dollars or back-room deals as a surrogate from the EPA. Those of you who do/did contribute, please complain to your state BBB as well...

The American Lung Association-MI has targeted House Energy & Commerce Chairman Fred Upton for his efforts to stop the EPA from regulating greenhouse gas emissions by placing billboards within sight of his district offices linking climate change with increased childhood asthma,” as reported by E&E News PM. The EPA has paid the American Lung Association over $20 million in taxpayer money in the last ten years, and has paid the ALA many more millions in a symbiotic relationship going back to at least 1990 to act as a political surrogate for the EPA.

The EPA-ALA relationship works something like this: EPA pays the ALA and, in return, the ALA agitates for more stringent EPA air quality regulation, including by lawsuit. Now it’s billboards that attack a member of Congress with whom the head of the EPA disagrees, but is unable to attack on its own. This is NOT the stated goal of the ALA and they should have to operate as a political entitiy if they are going to enter that arena. Nor is it what the public donates it's money to engage in. Please remove your wise-giving accredidation from ALL ALA offices until they either remove themselves from political activism or register as a PAC.

Anyone know of a search engine that DOESN'T give to Democrats? I use Yahoo, like 'em but they give big to D's... fortunately I don't pay, but I'd rather use one that contributes 50-50 or mostly to R's.

We need to target, (that's right, target) the seats of those who refuse to address all forms of energy production INCLUDING drilling, natural gas, nuclear power & hydrolic power! If someone who represents YOU wants only green energy tell 'em you will expect them to practice what they preach - you'll note the Obama has NO qualms about the amount of gas used flying the wings off Air Force One, or Marine One... only when you or I need to get to work does the king have a fit!!

FLORIDIANS - That little weasel in the Florida House, Rick Kriseman (D-53) is sponsoring a bill that will amend the Florida Constitution to ban oil drilling off the coast of Florida... he also claims there is a grass roots move for this as well.... He just happens to be up for re-election in 2012 and we need to beat the seat from under his pompous derriere!

No, we have TERM LIMITS in FLORIDA and all the professional politicians do is swap seats when they term out. We, the people need to get INFORMED and vote out those who strip us of our liberty, raise our taxes and re-distribute our 'wealth' in the name of 'social justice'... like Babs does at every opportunity.
