I'm going to say this so, hopefully, everyone will see this. Whoever it is that led anyone here to believe that the movie, "One for the Money" is a romantic-comedy, LIED to you. It is not a romantic comedy. Like life, romance does eventually come to Stephanie Plum but not in the first book and not in this first movie. Stephanie flirts with a series of men who come into her life but there is nothing I would call Romance anywhere in this movie, or very little of it.

The best description I can give for this movie is it is a fish-out-of-water comedy adventure.

A woman, who previously sold underwear at Macy's, out of desperation, takes a job as a bounty hunter and goes after a cop who is suspected of killing an unarmed man. Yes, this cop happens to be the man who took her virginity when she was 17. She isn't out for romance though. After all, he dumped her right after taking her virginity.

This is NOT A ROMANTIC COMEDY! It is a fun little adventure comedy that I would recommend if you're looking for some escapism, whether you've read the books or not.

"One For the Money" is a rom-com. People here keep saying that.

Ladies and gentlemen, "One for the Money" is NOT a romantic comedy. Yes, Romance comes to Stephanie Plum in the series of books, but not in this movie. I would describe the movie more as a Fish out of water adventure comedy.

I agree. I actually just saw this movie this evening, and no, it doesn't compare to the books - The books are ALWAYS better - but it is fun. I have read the books but my wife hasn't and we both enjoyed the movie.

No, this isn't "Gone With The Wind", "Citizen Kane" or "Casablanca" and I honestly think they would have done better going the same as the Jesse Stone books and making them into a series of TV movies, but this is a fun little escapist movie. If you're going for deep and emotional, this isn't your movie. If you're going for fun... Put it on your list.

Seems to me like this is a good thing for the Republican Presidential nominee to know.

At the start of every debate between Obama and the Republican candidate, just get in there and jab real quick. Irritate him. Throw him a little off his game. I bet Obama wouldn't recover until Halfway through the debate.

Of course, this only works if Obama actually AGREES to a debate. I don't see it happening personally.

Boyd is the classic anti-hero. Boyd is out for Boyd. If being the bad guy serves him best, he'll be the bad guy. If standing up and fighting beside Raylan will serve him best, he'll do that too.

Love the show. Can't wait for the new season.

I have to agree with most of the posters here. Netflix is 100 times better than Blockbuster. When I moved to this town 15 years ago to be with my now wife, there were three video stores in this town. One small independent who was still renting video tapes, a blockbuster and another chain video store. Blockbuster was ALWAYS the most expensive and let us keep our movies the shortest time.

Why would I pay $5 for a movie at Blockbuster I could only keep for a night or two when I could go down the road and pay $3 for a movie I could keep for a week.

Now, 15 years later, all three video stores are gone. For a while, we didn't have a video store in this town. Even before Blockbuster and that other chain video store went under, my wife and I had already found Netflix. It was cheaper than any of the video stores. With Neflix, it was possible for me to get two movies every three days or so for the entire month. That's about twenty movies for $8 - Before Netflix raised their prices - and that was just for the new movies on DVD or Blu-Ray. That doesn't count the potentially thousands of titles I could watch instantly on my computer, DVD player or Wii.

If I want to meet people, chat, get out of the house, have fun... I can go to a bar, a nightclub, a restaurant or the local recreation center. I wouldn't go to Blockbuster even if there was one.

I seriously can not tell...

Is this article legit or a joke?

The military has been gassing it's recruits, in one way or another, for decades probably. Like others here, I was put in a gas chamber when I was in the Army back in the late 80's. I had to remove my mask, shout name, rank and such, then put the mask back and clear it. It's part of military training.

It's amazing what someone can do in Hollywood if they've got a hit and "Dirty Jobs" has been doing well for a number of years. While the Hollywood elite may not like to admit it, they are all about making money and as long as Rowe keeps bringing in the viewers, and the advertisers, he'll keep his job... and his career.

A correction: "All the King's Men" is on Thursday October 13th at 2AM.

At least here on the East Coast it is.
