news_across it sounds like are oblivious to the fact that the system of government that was created by our fore fathers has worked for over 200 years. I find it interesting that the current bailout is propping up those institutions that are under the most strict of government regulation such as banks and those institutions that the treasury secretary is calling on to help by buying up the toxic assets are the very institutions that are under the least regulation such as hedge funds. Kind of makes the point that more government and more regulation doesn't work. right? Wanting Obama to succeed is a catch 22 situation........I for one want the country to succeed regardless of who has to take the fall.

Elliott you are emulating a lemming. Since you are obviously willing to follow anyone who makes your leg tingle. Your generation has grown up with a liberal indoctrination from the educational system and have never known what true freedom is or what it took to make this country great. If your ideology was dominant during WW2 I seriously doubt that we would have brought Germany and Japan to their knees. It is very likely we would be speaking Germese (mixture of German and Japanese). Wake up and smell that odor of freedom or some day you will be suffering the effects of tyranny.
