The Public will just have to deal with the over agressive SPD as we don't have the funds to stop it! Really McSchwinn......Maybe you could find $18-$20 million from the SPD high paid attorneys that defend them for their wrong doings? My understanding is the public pays the highest priced attorneys in town to represent these officers doing the wrong. If we had a citzen board with OPA we would magically find the funds from the defense attorney funds.

Yup! and your still getting taken......No justification to this drop, other than the supply has finally caught up to the speculation. The last time Oil was below $90 per barrel was in 2006 and we were paying $2.80 at the pump. Something is still broke in the system......An Additional $.60 per gallon is still in someones pocket from six years ago, and it's not my pocket.

No wonder they need more tax dollars!
Let's just do some math: Average 10 people per day that would use this bridge for transportation needs, other than going to the mall. Amortize the bridge for twenty years, and then do some math. That equates to $137 dollars per person that crosses the bridge.

Do the math another way. Park a taxi cab on the West Side Idling, when and if someone needs to get to the other side, say $10 per trip? That cab could make ONE MILLION trips to the other side.

Your tax dollars in the hands of those that couldn't make a living in the private sector, where every dollar counts.

93 Tiago, I agree!
The data is flawed. The state stopped unemployment for many people and now those people are either living under the viaduct, or they were forced to take employment involving a relocation to another State.

I'm one of those that was at the point of living under the viaduct, yet made the decission to accept a position out of state with a relocation. I was shocked when I arrived to find MANY others from Washington that also relcoated to Arizona at the same company.

I think the State of Washington made a horrible mistake by shutting off the benefits, as many well qualified people (Tax Payers) are leaving to find acceptable employment. Jobs were never created or was there ever a noticable effort by the State to create jobs, only a program to chase people away.

Oh my, you mean a cyclist needs to stop and look both ways before proceeding. What a new concept! In that case lets spend a few million on giving them a more direct path of pulling into traffic, and believe they have the right away.

Whats the price at Costco? Your price comparison is from retailers that have up charges of 30-40%. Get the real situation that shows what volume can do in cost, rather than retailers that sell five bottles a week and operate with large overheads.

"stern talking to" - The SPD does think it's above the law once again. Evidence has been supplied of a wrong that should be enforced with a $250 fine being issued to the driver of the vehicle that parked in the spot. If I had done this or another public person, we would have been handed a $250 fine. We wouldn't have gotten a stern taking to........

Officer or not, it is wrong and the State Statue clearly defines the law, and the law has been clearly violated with evidence. Ticket the officer!

I love how everyone is stating that prices are going up.....Go to Costco and I'll bet you find it 20% cheaper! This is the Costco way, pull your buying power away from the distributors/State and your competitors will ultimately pay more for their products. The state has had a one price fits all for too many years, and it shields retailers such as Costco who is more efficient and drives sales on volume, not one bottle at a time.

So yes FX will pay more, because they don't purchase that unique bottle of bourbon by the pallet. It just cracks me up on how the Media and those against this go to the bottom of the VOLUME barrel to find the negatives and then propagate it.
