“Government over promising healthcare benefits” is a pretty disingenuous way of describing the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006, which required the USPS to prefund health care benefits to future retirees for the next 75 years, an act of sabotage by a conservative Congress designed to drive the USPS into the ground, and which is the primary cause of its current financial troubles.
