You know what, I am really coming to believe that a lot of these ignorant homophobic black people are just doing it on purpose. They have no real grounds to base their hate other than the, because I can defense. I know that black lbgt future law professionals can form their own organization and a much better organization. I suggest the NBJC form a sister organization for them. We need more unity among our black TGLB community. Together we can continue to rise with the strength we have in numbers.

This is very very needed. Although the hate coming from the religious right and the black community is also something to have an eye kept on. On sites like new york daily news, the lies and hate are being thrown around recklessly. I am proud to be on this website where you are all not afraid to post the truth and move into the future.
I would definitely join. I heard another gay man say that he has been signed on with big brothers and sisters for about 2 years and they told him they do not think that he as a gay man would be situated with a child.
