hmmm... sounds like a great idea. What's happened with this recently?

Excellent article, Daniel.

I like to search for people by job title or interests, so that I follow people who give me great info and can answer my various business, social media and Twitter questions. I've discovered VAs on Twitter (didn't know they existed before), met a few and am on my way to hiring them.

You can find any "type" of person you need - since your description is searchable as well.
I like to follow lots of people in various fields/interests so that I get a great big mashup of what's going on - and about 2/3 of the people I follow eventually follow me back.

But be careful not to violate the TERMS by following too many people too fast. Like on facebook, that could get you banned.
(they don't tell you exactly how fast or how many is too much, but if your finger is getting sore from clicking "follow", it's time to slow down...)
