The reforms could cost tens of millions that the city doesnt have...because they need to save it for the lawsuits.

You know if the police had done the right thing and been trained to do the right thing we wouldn't have this problem.

So because he only practiced for 4 years, this makes him inarticulate?

I simply state that the man is articulate. You don't get to be a lawyer, law professor, senator, and president with out being somewhat articulate. Heck even bush had his moments.

I don't put much stock in polls right now. Usually the sampling rate is to low and the margin of error is high.

As I said before polls rarely reflect the electoral college. Obama and Romney are both going to get at least 40% of the popular vote. However states where Obama is safe give him a very large cushion in the electoral college. If we count the states that are likely and the ones that lean for Obama and the same for Romney, Obama still leads with 221 to 181. Leaving 136 electoral votes up for grabs. There are 11 states that are toss ups for the election.

The article is interesting but it does not account for the electoral college.

The election is sure to be interesting. Obama has to show the progress he has made and paint Romney as one of the people who created the mess. Conversely Romney has to grow a thicker skin, stop whining and try to appeal to voters.

I am not going to knock someones career choice. He practiced and then changed what he did. Maybe he didn't like being practicing lawyer, we don't really know. The fact still remains that he was a practicing lawyer for years. We have no indication that he was fired by any client nor do we have nay indication that any client was even dissatisfied with his work. Therefore we can conclude that he was a good lawyer.

He "NEVER" practiced...we sure if you don't count the four years he spent with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland.

Like it or not he is articulate.

Seriously, if you can not even deal with the reality that Obama is an intelligent and articulate person whom you have philosophical and political disagreements with...then I think you are going to have a really hard time.

Finally. When people tell me that we need to cut out all these pesky regulations and regulators I always tell them that they are there for a reason. Usually that reason is because this or that industry has proven repeatedly that it can not regulate and police it's self. I am surprised that it has taken this long.

I remember when I was new to the army. A lot of us received a Preapproved credit card application in the mail. Turns out I was the only one who read it(5 times) and I was the only one who didn't accept it. Buried in the fine fine print was a little statement that said I would be enrolled in a credit class. The cot of the class was 500 and it was put on the card automatically. The credit limit was 1000. So all I had to do was sign up and immediately have 500 in debt. My friends were supried when they got their first bill.

Your argument is weak.

I am pretty sure he could carry on fine with out a prompter. After all he was a very good lawyer. I doubt you get to argue in front of a judge and jury with a prompter.

First, the unemployment rate went as high as 10% and has been dropping.
Second, he has passed budgets.
If you actually paid attention you would find that many people supper the healthcare law and those that are opposed like what is in the law however they don't like the mandate.
For another thing you obviously don't know what a marxist, communist, or socialist is. Why don't you go learn what they actually are and then try saying the same thing.

BTW, show me the part of the bill that states you will go to jail if you don't buy healthcare. I have actually the law. Not a synopsis, not someone's breakdown of it, the actual law.

Sometimes, an apology is the right thing to do. Was it right for us to incinerate 100,000 civilians? Is that in keeping with our values?

Here is the thing with YOU. YOU just don't like Obama. Thats fine. However you are willing to attribute everything negative with him and not recognize any accomplishments. That is simply wrong. If you are actually going to be an informed voter you need to look at things objectively and factually. Try it some time.
