It's amusing to see the MSM fret over this. Currently 37 states are "shall issue" concealed handgun license states with another three not even requiring a license to carry a concealed handgun (Alaska, Arizona and Vermont).

Are the 40 states with highly permissive gun laws that allow people to carry handguns around in public out of the mainstream or is Chicago part of an oppressive minority of places that don't even allow a handgun in one's home for self defense?
