That seems reasonable to me. Following the police will be no guns for the military. After all...there are really no bad guys who hate our guts - only some poor misguided souls who have no craft other than making bombs to burry on the side of the road. All we need to do is sit down and talk sweetly with them and then we'll all hug and make up.
