I teach History at the high school level and for several weeks I have been teaching my students the paralells between the stimulus bill and with the Acts of Parliament that were passed against the colonists.The most compelling act would be the Tea Act of 1773 which was designed to prevent the bankruptcy of the British East India Tea company. The students are amazed at the paralells. Its a shame our law makers haven't picked up a good history book in some time.
