Agree with you apart from the part about Maynard. I watched and I felt really sorry for him, he's not strong so he can't put up with so many defenders, but he's quick and tricky, and he's literally got no support. It's not like he didn't score for Bristol City!

Just flicked on the match. All I have seen is individuals playing football. Anyone see Matt Taylor in tonnes of space to run? A few years ago we would counter that and sprint, and it just came to nothing. Everyone seems to be getting frustrated, no ideas. Ohh dearrr

Been thinking about West Ham so much recently, that I'm starting to dream about it!

West Ham was against Millwall on BBC, and we had an Israeli midfielder called Suyalem that played like Benayoun, then we had a clear goal by Vaz Te disallowed. Then Rob Green gave away a penalty for picking up a pass back?? From which he saved anyway. I'm not sure if we won or lost, but it's the best football I've seen them play all season...Bizarre!

To be honest, I agree too, I very often compare West Ham to the England national team. Although England aren't the best team, we should be doing better, but it also seems that because there is so many expectations; with the fact that the English Premier League is the best and most watched football league in the world, plus the fact that football originated from England etc.. it makes the team so much more nervous than most other team, and it reminds me of West Ham!
