wow, 20+ police just to arrest a lawyer? Our men in blue sure is brave. And sure prove they have nothing better to do. Waste of resources, and a blatant disregard of justice and human rights.
Those who voted for BN in GE13 in the name of retaining peace? This is on you. But there is redemption yet. Vote with your conscience in GE14. Our country needs you more than ever now.

Can the police tell us why police reports on a certain university's forum spreading lies on other religions were not acted upon for almost a year, but when the DPM say something, an arrest was made within a day?
I'll leave it to the public to decide on the men in blue's independence.

Can someone in the Opposition please mark him for recruitment? Imagine how powerful his message and representation can be? What happened to him is pure persecution and the PR should thank the government and maximize it.

Apologies? Why should we listen to a tabloid paper? if anyone should apologize, it will be this paper that constantly publish racially sensitive remarks. They don't even dare to publish under their own names!

Personally I believe Sedition Act should stay, but the implementation and enforcement of it should not be abuse by those in power to silence their critics. If corrupted politicians can use a law to sway decisions to their benefits, they will do it regardless of it being the Penal Code or the Sedition Act. Hence the problem is not the law itself, but the ruling government.
Surendran, don't be hasty in shooting down the IGP. By offering this comment, the IGP has proven he is not as apolitical as he should be. Much like his boss the Home Minister, he is quite prone to shooting himself in the foot, so let him talk more.

Can someone please take videos of such incidents in future and send it to major news networks like CNN, BBC, Channelnewsasia , etc? The world need some jokes to lighten up their life in such depressing economic environment. Let everyone see what kind of moderation is being practised by Najib.
By the way Mohd Rizuad, we all know who the wild boar/s here is, and it's not LGE. Still don't know? Take a look in the mirror.

For someone that said "mere debate will lead us nowhere", he seems quite willing to withdraw his support once the letter has been sent to PM, without any determination to follow through on the matter. It is not just about putting your name on a piece of paper, but about your determination and will to ensure our country's safety. While I applaud his initial willigness to include his name, I m saddened by the weak stance.
But having said so, the letter has opened a floodgate where the silent majority is now willing to step forward and be heard.

It is never too late, as I believe those who expressed extremists traits or remarks are just a handful. Malaysians are largely moderate and co-exist with one another quite well. It is only because of political mileage and preservation are those views being expressed now.

This surely showcase UMNO's leaders qualities. The PAC position can be quite powerful, given that he/she will be able to question and audit the state's spendings. There are only a few reasons for rejecting it, and please dont insult the people's intelligence by saying it is based on intergrity or principles. Only UMNO members will believe that.

I totally disagree with you in regard to the role a media should prioritize EM 2. While the media should cultivate racial harmony through positive reporting of "real" happenings, it should not ignore matters or incidents for fear of causing discomfort. In fact, I believe it is the media's main duties and responsibilities to report anything negatives that may cause racial disintergration. Only then will the authorities be alerted to the matters and be able to act upon it. By the way, contrary to what UMNO politicians think, reporting on negative issues WILL NOT cause racial disintergration. Ignoring it, on the other hand, will.
And Minister, this is definitely not a SMALL issue. If this happen to Muslim students, those doing it would have been investigated under Sedition. So stop undermining other faiths.
