OMG, I think that's right! She WOULD melt if you poured water on her! You, in a dress, truly horrifying...

All banter aside: Speaker Pelosi should resign. She is damaged goods to her own party, and our intelligence community/military have no confidence in her support AT ALL. How are they supposed to fight the good fight, knowing this woman may well turn over on them if it's politically expedient for her to do so? Never mind what the Right thinks about this woman--as a powerful government official, she has just caused too much damage to repair her relationship with the CIA & the military. She is a danger to us all if she retains her seat. Get someone with credibility in there. And in Murtha's seat, too.

I still think Pelosi and Joe Biden are probably the same person.....

I'm in all the way. He is not--never will be--my President, and I do hope he fails at everything he's trying to do (bearing in mind, he's not trying to win a war on terror any more, and has never worked to preserve life, etc..)

The first question I always ask "torture apologists" is if they have watched a beheading video, with the sound on. They never have. They shriek and run at the idea of it and think I'm sick. No, I'm not sick---I guarantee you, you will only watch one ONCE. But you understand exactly what we are dealing with. I do not believe in denying reality, and I want to know exactly what radical Islam is.

Years ago, I accidentally saw a photo from 9-11; I couldn't even figure out how it popped up at the time. It was part of a leg on a New York City sidewalk. The press never did let us see the worst of it---and I thought it was a mistake. Because I believed that liberals---who have such deeply sensitive hearts--would never understand the war we were in, and that it was real, and that these people really do rejoice over posting that photo as their computer wallpaper. I think the press (and probably the government, if I"m honest) did a great disservice to the country by protecting us from the worst of 9-11. I saved that photo; I admit that I use that photo in arguing about torture, just hold it up in front of someone and say "September 11 2001, and this could have been part of YOUR daughter. Maybe it will be next year".

It does, at least, shut them up.

I keep hearing that The View is supposed to be "for women". I do not know who these women would be, other than maybe the Nancy Pelosi Gal Pal Fan Club (all 4 of them).

I've caught it only twice, by accident, and stayed there for all of 3 minutes because of an interesting conservative guest. Even that couldn't hold me past the 3 minutes. Let's see...Charles Krauthammer, Barbara Walters, Charles Krauthammer, Barbara Walters...hmmm.

I-N-S-I-P-I-D. By the way, Steven, I'm developing an unhealthy crush on your intellect (girly squeal!).
