Really interesting, I'm going to try it. I wish there were a way to easily follow photos at a location of interest rather than just one I'm at now. For example, if I wanted to know how long the wait might be at my favorite restaurant or how crowded the park is, looking at recent photos near that location might provide the best clue...

I want a free and open Internet without caps and throttling and generally support net neutrality. But if mobile video consumption is 50% of usage, yet less important to consumers and takes bandwidth that interferes with browsing, mail, navigation (and maybe even phone calls), then I'd totally support network prioritization so that video would fail before other services did. When capacity is tapped, why can't mobile carriers better prioritize voice calls and other crucial data services so that we don't have dropped calls or unusable browsing?

Almost as interesting is that Google announced better compatibility with all Sprint customers, not just Nexus S owners. From http://googlevoiceblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/sprin...

"Sprint customers will be able to use their existing Sprint mobile number as their Google Voice number and have it ring multiple other phones simultaneously. So now, calls to your Sprint mobile number can easily be answered from your office or your home phone, or even your computer through Gmail. Calls from Gmail and text messages sent from google.com/voice will also display your Sprint number. This basically gives Sprint customers all the benefits of Google Voice without the need to change or port their number."

Wow, at that price I could almost imagine having one to use along side others rather than choosing one or the other. A device dedicated to gmail, Google docs, etc., almost makes sense.

I wish it were easier to cut and paste between devices -- I already want to read and browse on iPad even when the laptop (that I use for writing/creating) is at hand.

Perhaps several small screens is actually better than one big one?

Google's core competency is engineering, not UX. They need a partner on this who has the depth and process at design that they have at implementation and scaling. The very process and culture that is such a strength for Goog elsewhere is a weakness here.

You prefer Twinkle after having tried the others, or has it been good enough to avoid the rest?

I don't remember what all I didn't like about Twinkle besides being forced to create a Tapulous account.

Thanks for pointing out on Twitter that we both blogged responses to the same post... :-)
