Well... it IS a rare victory. I see you're discounting handhelds, so there are essentially only 3 systems to analyse. "2nd place spot... behind only the Wii" is still 2nd... out of 3.

Maths was never my forte, but I don't believe 2nd is classed as a victory.

Give me cartridges any day of the week. Hell, I'd take them for home consoles too.

Infinitely more convenient than discs, no need for external memory to save games, and best of all, no loading times.

3D in the cinema is not something audiences asked for, it was forced upon them. It was something cinema-goers were told they wanted, essentially. And who profits? Production companies do, of course, thanks to higher ticket prices.
