It is indeed gross Coalition stupidity. The more politicians meddle in Education, the worse the results. I favour making all the Universities cutting loose from State funding and opening up a genuine free market, then we'll see better terms for kids wanting to pursue a decent education.

There is a complete lack of strategic thought from the politicians at Stormont and so rather than deal with issues they prefer to pass the blame. The State must live within budget. Simple. Why howl in outrage at reality?

I think this could lead to widespread civil unrest as Brits TRY to get jobs but realise that the jobs are held by foreign workers. This is Labour's toxic inheritance to us - a totally dysfunctional job market.
