Based on the photos I've seen of Brittany Robertson, I think she's too pretty to play Cassie. I always had the impression that Cassie was a bit of a "Plain Jane" 'til she gained more confidence after being around Diana. (But I suppose they could always dress her down for the first few episodes.)

If Robertson will be playing Cassie, I expect them to cast a bombshell to play Diana, considering L.J. Smith describes Diana as very pretty, with hair appearing to be made of sunbeams and moonbeams. (Faye would have to be just as beautiful, only darker.)

From what I know of Charmed, the girls fought demons, had interactions with angels, etc. The Secret Circle books aren't like that. In fact, if the books' big villain wasn't the undead High Priest of the original coven, they'd be absolutely realistic. I'd lean more toward fiction written by Pagan authors like Silver RavenWolf if you're looking for comparisons, rather than dubbing the show "Charmed Junior" or "The Craft Junior".

This is what I was referring to when I tweeted, "I find it quite thrilling that Nolan's team is considering a town near me for the next Batman movie! (I'll keep @GeekTyrant informed!)" earlier.

And for the record, they did not get -their- facts mixed up, because there are no facts to be had. Jon Bayless, the Grand Ledge city manager, told the Lansing State Journal that he'd heard secondhand that Nolan intended to turn the water retention vault into "Robin's office". Meanwhile, the Michigan Film Office isn't commenting on whether any of their representatives have scouted Grand Ledge, Detroit or Grand Rapids (the other two Michigan locations mentioned as possibilities). So it's hard to say at this point.

I read the Lansing State Journal every day, so if I hear something more, I will tweet you (or contact the site directly, if you'd rather).

I would like to see another prologue involving General Bratt...maybe where he's in a nursing home and discovers that his ban on marijuana has come back to bite him in the ass. (Mainly because I'm a HUGE Remar fangirl and fantasize about playing the nurse who pushes Bratt's wheelchair! xD )

I would have been very, VERY disappointed if Stephen King didn't watch Dexter. YEAH!

I like Spongebob, too, and I also write dark stories and novels. Hmm...I guess if Spongebob can't lighten us up, who can? ;)

I think Dexter returning for a sixth season is about as obvious as snow in Michigan during the winter! (LOL) We don't have to worry about Dexter being canceled...it will end naturally. My only wish (screaming fangirl that I am) is that James Remar will be there 'til the very end. xD
