Fox is proving uniquely sensitive to advertising boycott campaigns this summer. Three major advertisers — LexisNexis-owned Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble and Progressive Insurance – all abandoned Glenn Beck’s Fox News Channel show after he called President Obama a racist (video below).

The move comes after Fox axed host Steven Cohen from Fox Soccer Channel because Cohen repeatedly — and incorrectly — blamed Liverpool F.C. supporters for the death of 96 fans in a stadium crush, at one point singing, “Murderers, murderers.” At least four advertisers, including Heineken, withdrew support from Cohen’s shows.

ConAgra, Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, and RadioShack have all joined the advertisers who have pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show on Fox News Channel after the host called President Obama a racist.

That brings to 12 the number of companies boycotting Beck. (The others are Geico, Men’s Wearhouse, State Farm, Sargento, LexisNexis, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance and S.C. Johnson.)
