Most likely, Hollyweird will always be a liberal town. That business has always attracted narcissists who want to control content that large audiences see and then give themselves awards for doing so. Describes leftists perfectly. It's like high school with money. People who live in a bubble and see the south as a collection of dumb, ignorant racist hicks and hillbillies. Though I didn't see it, the synopsis of Rod Lurie's remake of Straw Dogs proves that point: Hollywood screenwriter moves to Mississippi and is attacked by southerners as just described. Lurie said it wasn't a political movie, nobody said it was. It was, however, a cultural one and is an accurate depiction of their view of flyover country.

It seems there are some people who label movies "conservative" or "liberal". I don't think that applies with movies. Now some movies have a message and some are rank propaganda, and that's where this mindset seems to stem from. (The China Syndrome, The American President, Guilty by Suspicion, Runaway Jury, The Contender - all liberal message movies) I think that is secondary to a good story, plot and character development. A good screenwriter will insert the message in a more subtle manner if they are smart. I think this is more effective in the long run.

I saw a scene from "Courageous" and it just turned me off. It was the last scene where the father gives a speech and it was just too darn preachy for my tastes. Though I haven't seen it, it just didn't rouse my interest at all. You have to make the story compelling enough to attract viewers, no matter what the "message" is, political or not.

Shocking! I'm flabbergasted! This never happens.

I can recall them jumping down Bush's throat when they went up under him.

Now that BO has the problem the Dims tell us "there is only so much he can do" and "it won't happen overnight, you know". Brazen two-faced hypocrisy.

HBO=Hail Barack Obama
HBO=Hardline Bolshevik Organization

From the advent of this story, we've gotten to see how duplicitous the left in Hollywood is. They keep a straight face while they tell us this is not a hit piece. Yeah right, uh-huh. They think Americans in flyover country are stupid and we can't see through their thinly veiled agenda. Puhleez.

From what I understand, Kanye came from an upper crust family in Chicago. It seems he went to OWS to maintain "street cred" like that other two-face phony Russell Simmons. Hip-hop hypocrisy if I ever saw it. If you can't see through that facade you are as blind as you are dumb.

It is steadily eating away at the fabric of America. A free press was intended to keep the powerful in check, not go in lockstep with an out-of-control President and his evil administration. Where are they with "Fast and Furious"? If something like that came about under a conservative Rep., could you imagine their coverage? Think Reagan and Iran/Contra.

I suggest you read "The Manchurian President" by Aaron Klein. It is a meticulously researched book (100s of sources) about the BO America doesn't know.

Needless to say, when the book was released a few years ago it was ignored and when he requested airtime on various media outlets he was met with a hostile response. 'Get a life" and "this is irrelevant" just to name a few.

Gee, I wonder why?

He even told a story on his Sunday afternoon radio show about how he was introduced to a news producer at MSNBC in NYC Central Park as she walked her newborn and as she found out who he was, she rudely and coldly turned and walked away without saying another word.
