Ha, NCLB, that bill made me laugh. You know what I think their school should do? I think they should hire a personal nanny for them. To give them the answers for the test, to make them breakfast, drive them to school, read them bed time stories, and tuck them into bed. These schools are babying their students, just to watch them fail. Students need to get motivated, and there shouldn't be such a "safety netting." The bigger the safety netting, the more "okay" it is for them to give up. What they should be doing is teaching them how to flip burgers and read the buttons on a cash register. But then again, if we drive up to the window, and don't have our food, as long as they remembered 50% of our order, we will be fine, right? They got 50% on their homework, so it works! You have to think about 50%. What if the post office only delivered 50% of the mail? What if only 50% of all plane flights landed successfully? What if 50% of people in the world actually worked for what they have? I'll have to remember to add Dallas on my "Places Not To Live" list.
