This is hilariously untrue. It was in someone's back yard, but not that of a 'couple' and they didn't find it while 'strolling'. The man was trying to help a neighbor and found the grenade when trying to get to the water heater.

Some tweaker scrappers lived there for awhile and it's a good guess that's where it came from.

I had no idea that it wasn't basically ILLEGAL to dispose of sharps in anything less than one of those red containers. What a bunch of lazy ********** that don't get rid of their waste properly. Have to wonder, did parents never get people taught to **pick up after themselves**? I fear mostly not :(

I am glad to know that we don't have to always fork over the bucks for the little red containers tho! I'll be looking at the health dept. when I next go to the dr. near it :) Thanks!

And it's nice to know that however rude people posting in this forum might seem, the consensus seems to strongly be that it's just WRONG to throw needles in recycling OR trash :) Thanks again folks!
