It's already been pointed out more than a bunch of times but this is not a movie about the American Military. They are mercenaries and it is inferred that many but not necessarily all of them were Marines or Army or whatever. Pay attention to what you are watching instead of having a knee jerk reaction to it. I am a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and I am proud of my service. I wasn't offended in any way, don't forget the hero of the story was himself a "stupid Jarhead". He just chose to stand up for what was right in the face of an overwhelming authority and force. I think the fact that a US Marine did the right thing speaks more about the message in the film than any hired guns working for a morally corrupted corporation. Do you really think the movie would have been better if the story was about brave US soldiers bulldozing the Na'vi and celebrating their conquest?
I will say it again, I am a veteran, I am proud of my country and the work I did while serving in it's military. You sir Frank DeMartini need to get a grip. Clearly you went into this movie with preconceptions and chose to see it the way you wanted to so you could rile up your political buddies about its non existent anti-American message.
