Great post, Quiet. I am so sick of the whining about the CRPD. we constantly hear that they are understaffed, ill-equiped, and poorly trained. But, as soon as they get a new tool the screaming about tax dollars starts. Yeah, we all want improvement, but just try to get the public to supplement funding and see what happens. These men and women are doing a dangerous job for a pittance and getting no respect. How many of us would tolerate that in our own professional lives???? Double Kudos to the cops.
The stereotypes will fade as soon as those being stereotyped stop proving them. Fact.
I have a dream --- that one day, decent people (of all colors) can feel safe in a small midwestern city. That they will feel comfortable buying a home in any quadrant, shopping at any business on the corridor, and not worry about what school their child will attend. I have a dream that justice will prevail over all useless, society sucking thugs (of all colors) and that we can all enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of our own unique brand of happiness.
Hmmm...interesting timing. Could it have been to divert attention from the fight that was scheduled just up the road at Rump Ranger?

I am proud to be a nerd! I hope to all that's holy that my kid grows up to be a nerd, too. If being a nerd helps him make wise decisions and live a long healthy life, I am all for it. GTI is correct, you do sound like an ignorant child.
