no "hello" or greeting or warm up questions... just straight to the tough stuff...
i said "er, i am a receptionist... not a muso... is there something i can help u with?" :p
he then kept insisting i answer so i said "you know there are christian heavy metal bands right?"
he says "but is the music christian?"
"music can't be christian... Jesus didn't die for music... "
he didn't like that and complained about me... :p

It's so easy to have a beautiful image of grace - life saving - life transforming grace... then come into salvation... then screw up... then somehow forget that there is still grace!... we don't have to try and cover ourselves with fig leaves... God sent Jesus to cover us... and keep covering us!
Grace.... such a huge deal!

I was at youth - we had pumpkin balancing comp and had some decorations up!

The way I see it... millions of people celebrate Christmas without thought of the real meaning behind it (you know the one about Jesus, our saviour, being born and stuff... ) so why can't we celebrate halloween without thinking about the origins etc.
I'm personally not really into it... but not against others liking it...
