Although my husband uses a scooter at Wal-Mart and supermarkets and he is significantly overweight (as a result of his disability), he doesn't get perceptibly stigmatized, because he is an older white male. Therefore it is simply assumed that his disability is somehow more legitimate than if he were female, or younger, or a person of color.

Leave it installed for a little while, so that people have a chance to experiment with it. I like it so far, but haven't used it much yet.

There is no Tim Hortons near me, but I'm seriously considering driving two hours once in a while to the nearest one to get another "fix" of their addictive coffee!
